Plastic ThermoForming
Capability:
Acutely focused on our customers' needs and the goal of being a single vendor resource, at Dewitt Plastics we offer vacuum forming / thermoforming services as one of our many manufacturing capabilities. The lower tooling costs of vacuum forming make it an attractive option to injection molding for low to mid volume products and components.
As a complete service, we offer product development, engineering, and design assistance to provide customers with broader flexibility and process selection when choosing the best manufacturing solutions.
We utilize automatic, single sheet forming equipment to precisely mold customer's product. Our staff is knowledgeable in processing parameters of multiple materials, with particular familiarity with high impact styrene (HIPS), PETG, polyethylene and ABS, all of which are manufactured to product driven tolerances.
We operate vacuum formers that can accommodate sheets up to 42" long and 42" wide with base material thicknesses up to ¼". In addition we also offer a full range of complementary services, including decorating, hot stamping, hydraulic press punching, pad printing, and painting, as well as sonic welding and solvent bonding. Design files can be submitted for quotation using SolidWorks (SLDPRT, SLDDRW, SLDDRT) and PDF computer files.
From design assistance through forming and secondary operations, at Dewitt Plastics we have all the services necessary for your vacuum forming project. Contact us today for additional information.
